Soulprayer I would myself describe as a lover of worldwide music and I am glad to have found this wonderful swing album from Japan.
Wonderful tunes and great big band feeling with gentle but firm japanese vocals. Favorite track: Great mission Yeah-yeah.
BRITENESS thumbnail
BRITENESS I wasn't expecting a chiptune/swing album to pop up anywhere ever, but lo and behold, I find this gem of an album. It's not for everyone, but if you like chiptune and/or swing, you will definitely love this album. Favorite track: Glory in my hands (Theme song of YMCK the phantom thieves).

bryface international music concern thumbnail
bryface international music concern for 15 years, YMCK has not needed to significantly alter their core famicom jazz sound -- because they execute it so well and always take it to such extremes of expression that there is always new ground to cover within the stylistic territory they've manage to stake out. This newest album speaks not only to their longevity, but to their musical genius - and serves as a prime counterexample to anyone who wrongly thinks that chip music doesn't provide a large enough sonic canvas for creativity. Favorite track: Glory in my hands (Theme song of YMCK the phantom thieves).

Roberto Villegas There are chiptune acts and then there is YMCK. Not only is this an excellent album from an awesome chip tune group, it's one of the most original chiptunes albums I've heard in a long time. It's like I entered some swing era dream, where bleeps and bloops replaced trumpets, saxaphones, and bass. It's a dream I don't want to leave or wake from. Do yourself a favor and purchase this album. Favorite track: Emerald tact.
